About Dr Serenella Tolomeo
Senior Scientist at the Institute of High Performance Computing (Agency for Science, Technology and Research) in Singapore. Her research focuses on determining the brain pathophysiological mechanisms underlying psychiatric and addictive disorders, with specific expertise in mood disorders, substance use disorders, and behavioural addictions, as well as the neural mechanisms of impulsivity.
Dr Tolomeo has published extensively on neuroimaging and neuropsychological studies of opioid use disorder, binge drinking, prediction error signals in substance users, and gaming disorders. She is also a Co-Director of the Executive Committee for the Society for Neuroscience Singapore Chapter.
