Please submit your paper or poster proposals in PDF format to [email protected] by 28 April 2024 (Sunday) 11:59pm. Late submissions may still be accepted on an ad-hoc basis. By submitting the form and abstract, you are committing to attend the conference and present your paper or poster if your submission is accepted. It is expected that papers or posters will represent original work, research, or projects that have been fully completed before presentation at the conference. We aim to respond to all submissions within 2 weeks.

Scientific Rigor: Submissions will be evaluated based on the scientific quality of the research, including the appropriateness of the research design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation of results. Strong emphasis will be placed on the rigor and validity of the research conducted.
Originality and Innovation: Judges will assess the originality and innovative aspects of the research presented, including the novelty of the research question, the uniqueness of the approach, and the potential impact of the findings on the field of behavioural and addictions medicine.
Relevance to the Field: Submissions will be evaluated based on their relevance and significance to the field of behavioural and addictions medicine. This includes the importance of the research question addressed, the potential implications of the findings for clinical practice, policy, or public health, and the alignment with the conference theme and focus.
Clarity and Organization: Judges will evaluate the clarity and organization of the presentation, including the overall structure, coherence of the content, and effectiveness of the visual aids (for posters). Clear and concise communication of the research findings is essential for effective dissemination of knowledge.
Impact and Significance: Submissions will be assessed based on the potential impact and significance of the research findings in advancing the field of behavioural and addictions medicine. This includes the potential implications of the findings for improving patient outcomes, informing clinical practice, or contributing to policy and public health efforts related to behavioural health and addiction.
Presentation Skills: For oral presentations, judges will assess the quality of the presenter’s communication skills, including their ability to engage the audience, convey the research findings clearly, and effectively respond to questions. For poster presentations, judges will evaluate the visual design, content, and overall presentation of the poster.
